Nkrataa – Is a FREE Akan word processor. The latest version of Nkraata consist of a few minor updates.

Changes in this version:

1.	Nkraata is now easier to install. Installation is in two easy steps.
2.	After installation, the user does not need to alter desktop properties.
3.	A user can now switch between his/her origional keyboard layout and the akan keyboard layout from within Nkraata.
4.	The Akan fonts are separated from the users usual fonts.

Nkraata v1.1 is for private use for all aspiring Akan students and enthusiasts. It is to be developed in conjunction with Nkrataa Professional (NOT FREE) for commercial use.

Nkrataa – Is a FREE Akan word processor. This version is the first product from the development cycle, first proposed by Cameron Boateng Duodu, the md of c2duo.com as a sponsored project for Mawuli Amoa during his final year at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Techonology, Kumasi.

Adopted for further work, this version is the first to be released for private use for all aspiring Akan students and enthusiasts. Nkrataa is to be developed in conjunctions with Nkrataa Professional (NOT FREE) for commercial use.
